Gen 4 Chapter 24: What just happened here?

You remember how I was losing time, just a little? Well it happened again.

Only in a much bigger way!

I guess Dad's job in Lunar Lakes ended or something. Or maybe they thought he was too senile to continue working on his super secret projects. I don't really blame them.

But, as suddenly as we moved there, we were moved out. We didn't even get a chance to pack!

And now we live someplace called Appaloosa Plains. It's not nearly as interesting or exotic as Lunar Lakes, so I'm not sure how well I'll fit in. But sometimes you just have to go with the flow.

You know?



This is our house. It has 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The bedrooms come in handy since, for some reason, Blu lives with us now too. Not that I'm complaining, I just thought that it would have been my idea for him to move in!



I think the second floor bedroom should be mine. It has its own sitting area and its own bathroom. I've claimed it. It's pretty boring, though, so I might redecorate it someday.



As soon as we moved in, the rest of us went to check out the new place. But Puzzle and Sebastian decided to get back their spark.



I've been saying that Blu needed to work out with me, since I look good while working out, so we went to check out the new exercise equipment that came with the house.

I do look good while I'm working out, but I think Blu might look even better!



Meanwhile, Puzzle tried to move his relationship to a whole new level!



But I guess Sebastian wasn't quite ready for that level of commitment. Poor Puzzle.

(A/N- It was here that I realized that the relationship levels were messed up in my romantic couples, too. I'm guessing it was left over from the glitch where they were unable to interact at all, but all three couples had reset to 0! I fixed that.)



You know, I love looking at Blu. Even when we're both all stinky.



I guess he doesn't mind the cloud of stink, either! It's like we were meant to be.

A/N: So I tried all of the resets in Lunar Lakes that I could manage, but the game still crashed as soon as I tried to do anything. So I added Blu to the family and moved them all to the bin. I left behind everything, which was kind of sad... I'm going to miss the ghosts! But once I started a new game in Appaloosa Plains, everything seems to be going pretty smoothly. Well, after I realized that all of my romantic relationships had been nuked. Friendships and family relationships are intact, so I don't know why the romances took a hit. All is well, though. I reestablished everyone's relationships and boosted the levels to where they'd been. I also changed Blu and Elphie from romantic to best friends. Because that was just wrong. Blu's traits are Brave, Loner, Loves Outdoors, Athletic, and Angler. I forgot to write down what his LTW is, but he's employed as a Minor Leager.

The cats had a little trouble with the move, but they settled down nicely.


Blu decides that being stinky might not be as much fun as Ariel tried to make it.


So he took a shower. And both Gwyn and Ariel watched. I guess the appreciation of Blu runs in the family!


Gwyn really likes Yetis.


There are enough beds for everyone, yet Sebastian, Puzzle, and Nemo all decided to sleep in the kitchen.

Gen 4 Chapter 23: Guy talk

You know how I like to eavesdrop?

Well, not eavesdrop. It's not like I go out of my way to listen to other people's conversations.

But if I happen to hear people talking and the don't actually see me, well that's ok right?

Because you can hear some interesting things when people don't know that you're around. Not that it really matters. I should know everything, anyway, being the head of the family and all.

Anyway, the other day Nemo and Dad were talking.

Dad: The toilet is broken.
Nemo: Yes, Dad. It's like it's raining in the bathroom!



Dad: I'm super proud of you, Nemo. You graduated!



Dad: Hey! Nemo! I have an idea!



Dad: You should totally join the Science career! You could be a scientist like your old man!



Nemo: Dad. I already got a job at the science center, remember? We work together. I told you years ago that I wanted to be a scientist like you.



Dad: Hey! Nemo! I have an idea! You could join the education career!



Nemo: No, Dad. I don't plan on being a teacher.



Dad: Hey! Nemo! I have an idea! You could join the music career!



Nemo: No, Dad, I don't plan on going into music.



Dad: Huh. The toilet's broken.

Gen 4 Chapter 22: A peek inside

I've heard that you can learn a lot from your dreams so I decided to keep a dream journal. Maybe it will give me some answers as to why Blu keeps evading me!

So, water is bad. That is obvious.



Hmmm. And I like muscles. I like Blu's muscles, anyway.



Mmmm. Food!



Awww! I dreamed about Rylee!



And Baxter!



Football... I forgot how much I like athletics. It's a good thing that my dream could remind me. I really should start working out again. I wonder if Blu would like to work out with me. I'll bet he would.



I wonder if I'm dreaming about the house we live in now or the new house I'm going to have in the future.



Water is bad and evil. And it's giving me nightmares.



Ahh! Two water dreams in a row?! No wonder I'm so paranoid! It's obviously trying to get to me in my sleep! I should warn the others. The swimming pool has got to go.



All of the swimming pools should be nuked. It's the only way we can be safe.



Yes, with that taken care of, the future's so bright I'll have to wear shades! And Blu can finally be mine!



No!!!! Revenge of the swimming pools!!!



The swimming pools will lead to nothingness.



Wow. My dreams are prophetic and depressing. I'm going back to ignoring them again now. I guess I'll just have to get Blu to love me on my own!

A/N: A silly little chapter that came from watching Ariel sleeping one day. I was waiting for her to wake up so we could invite Blu over (that actually happened in the last chapter) but it was too fun to not post! (Everyone else was at work and Gwyn was sleeping, too, so there wasn't anything to do!) In more tragic news, I tried to play with the Hodgins today and my game kept crashing after a few minutes, sooner if I tried to "fix" Sebastian and Puzzle's relationship in Master Controller. Sigh. I think I'm going to have to try and move them to the bin and start them over in a different file. Luckily, it shouldn't hurt Ariel's LTW too much.

Gen 4 Chapter 21: Kiss kiss... gone

So now that things are back to normal, sort of, I guess, I thought I'd try something new!

I'm going to be a sculptor! Can you imagine the beautiful things I'll be able to make?



I started with a block of clay. It seemed like a good place to start.

The big, strong block of clay made me think of Blu, so I decided to invite him over.



It put on my new dress, but it was late and Blu wouldn't even come in the house. He was worried about my Mom finding out he was there. I'm an adult, I'm allowed to have people over! I mean, look at Puzzle and Sebastian! They have each other over all the time!

Plus, he couldn't see my pretty new dress very well in the dark.



Then Blu said that he was tired and it was late and that he should probably go. He'd just barely even got here! He really should have agreed to come over the first time I called him rather than making me wait 3 more hours to get him to come over. I wonder what he was doing, anyway.



Either way, he wasn't getting away so quick again! I wanted to kiss him and he was just going to have to hold still and let me do it!



And then he was gone. Sigh.



Well, back to sculpting!



It took me all night, but I made a chair! A real live chair that you can actually sit on!

Well, maybe not "you", but I can!

A/N: And then, I got a message that Blu was dating Elphie Green (a sim I created for Moonlight Falls, but I don't remember dropping her in Lunar Lakes)! That's messed up! My game's relationships are obviously in need of some help. I'm going to have to fix those if I want Ariel and Blu together... and I totally do! Plus, she wants him, so it even follows the rules of the wishacy. Her wish to take up sculpting came out of nowhere. She seems to be happy with it, though.

Gen 4 Chapter 20: And we're back!

You know, I know that I'm not always the most "with it" person, but I'm pretty sure I haven't been that confused lately. It does seem like I've been losing time lately, like my world was just stalled out or something.

So imagine my surprise when Dad was suddenly having a party! And Sebastian and Puzzle were less together.

And I have no idea what's going on with me and Blu.

Sebastian was trying to get Puzzle's attention, but Puzzle thought he was creepy all of a sudden. I hope they can get it back together.



Nemo was making friends with Kara. She seemed to like him. I just wish I knew where she came from...



But Puzzle seems to be a little more receptive now. It's like we're all in some weird time warp.



I discovered that Blu came to Dad's party, so I headed down stairs to talk to him, maybe even kiss him. But he left just as I approached him. I wonder why it took so long to get down the stairs.

Still, I think I love him.



After the party, Dad did the dishes! I'll bet he's trying to get on Mom's good side.

Speaking of Mom, I wonder what she's up to...



Since it's been hours, maybe even weeks, since I ate, I thought I should have some food. Mom makes the best veggie rolls.



I guess Nemo's friend left.



Oops! Guess he should have taken a nap, like Mittens! Cats are so much smarter than people.



Then everyone got sad about the cats. I don't know why, the cats were fine.



Hey! There's mom. She's hanging out in Sebastian's room. I wonder what she's so smug about.



Oh. So she's been flirting with the maid? What is wrong with my parents!?

A/N: I fired up my game this morning to try and figure out how to fix my problem, and it... loaded just fine. I don't quite get it, but maybe restarting the computer after messing with my mods fixed the problem. That still doesn't explain why some of the games loaded and some didn't, but I'm going to go with it. We started up in the middle of a party that I remember Zeke planning, but I'm pretty sure I wasn't to the party part yet. And some of the characters aren't acting exactly like they should (like Puzzle and Sebastian are "old friends" instead of romantic right now) so I'm going to turn off aging until I get that sorted. Plus, I had a super bad lag that resulted in people passing out and peeing all over the place... and this isn't even an ISBI! Then, everyone started getting upset about the cats even though the cats were all in the green. And then all of the cats' icons disappeared! But the cats were still fine and on the lot! I have no idea. I figured that on restart was good so two might be even better... and that seems to have cleared up the lag. I have hope that things will be back to normal soon.
