Gen 4 Chapter 19: My date with Blu

I had to get out of the house. All of the **love** going around was getting to me.

Besides, I wanted love! Or, at least, I wanted to go out on a date. Blu agreed to go out with me.

I think that's a very good sign that he might want to spend time with me. Because going out on a date means spending time together and spending time together means that he might like me. Which brings us one step closer to him agreeing to father my children.

But I probably shouldn't tell him that yet.




I decided to invite him to one of those weird domed parks so that he could see what it is like where we used to live. I'm not as homesick as I used to be, but I still think it's nice that I can visit a little slice of home whenever I want to. I don't know why there aren't more people here.



He liked talking about my hometown and he told me about his. It sounds pretty interesting, maybe he'll take me there sometime.

I think I'd like it.

I hope that they like cats. I know Blu likes cats so that's a good sign.



After chatting for awhile, Blu showed me his muscles.

I like his muscles.

I decided to write a song about them.



Blu liked my song.



Then he gave me some money! I've never had anyone pay me to write a song about them before!

It's nice that he's investing in our future.

A/N: This was the sad, sad date where I couldn't get them to interact at all. Unlike Puzzle and Sebastian, they just wouldn't go for the autonomous PDA. Ariel is rolling all kinds of wishes to kiss Blu, but it just didn't happen. At least they managed to have a "great date". With any luck, the wired internet will be installed here in the new house tomorrow and then I can try to fix my game. I'm officially out of pictures now, so there won't be any more chapters until that happens!

Apparently, there was a little miscommunication... Blu was inside and Ariel was outside. They ended up spending their whole date outside the dome, which seems kind of sad. I wish they'd gone inside.

Gen 4 Chapter 18: "Me time" for Mom

I was talking with Mom the other night. It was nice to have a little "girl talk" and we really haven't done much together since we went to get tattoos. And she was probably a little mad that I laughed at her for passing out. But, really, what are you supposed to do when an old lady passes out at a tattoo parlor??? Laughing is really the only option



She's been on about people leaving dirty dishes all over again. It's like she's obsessed. I'm glad that I'm not obsessed with anything like that.



Oh! Here's a picture of my new cat Mittens!



Anyway. Mom said she needed to get out of the house. I told her that I'd go with her. She decided she wanted to visit the local pool, just like she used to when she was young.

I decided not to go with her. It's like she has a death wish or something!



I guess she spent the day swimming and chatting with friends on the phone. Apparently, she's trying to recapture her youth. The community pool is where she met Dad and I guess they had lots of great dates there, but I'm not sure an elder should be walking around in a bikini.



Mom seems to believe in the expression- "if you've got it, flaunt it"! It's hard to argue with her, she does look pretty good for her age!

Still, being that close to the water for that long? **shudder**

At least she knows that there could be monsters lurking under the surface. I guess she just doesn't care?

How can you not care, Mom? The water is dangerous!

A/N: Another short chapter. I'm just about out of pictures so I'll have to troubleshoot my game this weekend (if I'm lucky). Hubby moved my computer to the new house and set it up, but the internet isn't connected there yet so I can't really do much until then. Hopefully, that will happen on Friday.

The way Sims "swim" entertains me. Too bad Gwyn was alone, she needed to up her social, too.


Gwyn is sometimes almost as creepy as Zeke with the random staring. My elders are a little flaky this generation!

Gen 4 Chapter 17: Get a room!

You know how I was debating back and forth about whether Puzzle and Sebastian should move out?



Well I think Nemo and I have come to a decision on that...



And that decision is: "GET A ROOM!"



I think they might have heard us grumbling about all of the PDA, because they did start spending more time in their room. We could still hear them in there, though.



Ever since they got back together, it's like they can't keep their hands to themselves! I mean, I know that I was encouraging them to hook up, and I still think that it's the best thing for them. But I don't think I thought through the impact on the rest of the family!



Because they are super sweet to each other. And they seem to be super happy, which isn't something either of them were in their previous relationships. (I still shudder at the thought of those!)



But it's kind of hard to sleep above their room (me) or below their room (Nemo). They are very active.



It's also not safe to be anywhere else in the house!



GET A ROOM!

A/N: Sebastian and Puzzle have become very affectionate lately, which is really cute. But Nemo's face in that last picture sums up the rest of the family's feelings about it. Well, except for creepy Zeke, but you'll see him in the outtakes. I'm going to have to marry Sebastian and Puzzle off once I fix my little "no romantic interaction" glitch. Because of that glitch, though, everything in this chapter was totally autonomous! They really, really like each other.

Outtakes!

Creepy Zeke is lurking in their bedroom while Sebastian and Puzzle enjoy a little woo-hoo! In game play time, this was immediately after Gwyn tried to give Puzzle flowers. Things are weird!


Sebastian and Puzzle both like the kitties. When they (eventually) move out, I'm going to send a couple of the cats with them. (Also, this picture almost makes it look like Puzzle is wandering around naked, which amused me!)


Creepy Zeke again. Is this what happens when elders don't die?


Nemo napping while Puzzle waits for Sebastian to get home. I thought it was kind of cute.

Gen 4 Chapter 16: I believe I can fly

Is it just me, or does Sebastian look a little... satisfied... with himself and Puzzle? Even Dad is giving them the eye rolls!



Puzzle and Sebastian are thinking about moving out on their own. I'm not sure if that's a good idea or not... I'm all for fewer people around here, but they just got back together. It might be a little premature. Then again, I might be able to convince Blu to move in if there weren't as many people here! And that would be good. I'd miss Sebastian and Puzzle, though. So maybe they should stay.

Dad likes waffles. I think he wants to steal Sebastian's breakfast. Old people are weird.



No, Puzzle, I really don't need to know what you like about my brother's body. Really.



Anyway, I told the guys that they should not get a pool if they moved out. It's dangerous and really unnecessary. I don't think Sebastian appreciates my insight anymore, though. He shouldn't be so rude.

Maybe they should just move out after all.



Nemo doesn't listen to me either, that's for sure.



Look at this! He tried to give me a heart attack! He is UNDER the WATER! You can't just go UNDER the WATER! The water will never let you out!



I can't take it. I wonder if Sebastian and Puzzle will just take Nemo with them.

Or maybe we should all just move to a house with no pool.

I'm in charge, maybe I should just ban everyone from using it.

Really. This is not safe.



I decided that I needed a new cat. This is Mittens. He's adorable! And cuddly! And would never, ever, ever consider going into the water.



I hope he likes me.

A/N: Ok, boring chapter I know. Not much going on really but I just like the breakfast table pictures too much to not use them. And they worked well to start setting up the eventual move of Sebastian and Puzzle.
