Gen 4 Chapter 41: Invisible cats

Things are so crazy around here with three kids! I don't know how Dad and Mom kept track of all of us. I am constantly losing kids!

Yeti, poor dear, fell asleep in the dining room of all places! I have no idea how long she was there before Bonehilda found her, but I guess it's better inside than outside?



After that, I figured I'd better do a head count.

And I couldn't find Bumble!!! He can't even walk! Where could he possibly have gone?

Luckily, he popped out of the toy box before too long. He's pretty cute.



Blu headed over to grab Bumble while I went looking for Snow.

Being responsible parents is hard!



BOB was taking good care of Snow, at least.

Whew! I found all of the kids!



I needed a little stress relief after all of that worry, so I headed to our gym to work out. I love working out and don't do it nearly enough.

I figured I'd better take the one that could walk with me, you know, so I could keep an eye on her.

She did her homework!

I think I've got the hang of parenting now.



I finished my lion sculpture... isn't it fantastic? I had to sell it. Not because we needed the money or anything, but because I have a goal of making money with my sculpting.

Also, check out my fantastic new gnome! It came in the mail from some random people named Wonderland. Isn't that a great name? I have no idea why they sent me a gnome, but I figured they must know something that I don't know. Like that I needed a new gnome.

It's guarding my sculpting stations now.



The gnome must have done the trick because I got promoted to ice carving!

The best part about ice carving? The chainsaws.

So. Much. Fun.



It's less fun when the kids interrupt my sculpting.

Where is Blu, anyway? He was supposed to be taking care of them when he got home from work!

And isn't BOB around here somewhere? Why do I have to do all of the work?



I found Blu passed out in the front yard. I guess he was tired from working so hard.

I can't imagine what the neighbors must have thought, though... listening to my chainsaw all evening and then seeing a body in the driveway!



BOB was shorted out in the house. I guess that explains why he wasn't helping, either!



He perked up briefly. Then he leaked some kind of weird oil all over the floor.



Then he shorted out again!

Sigh. I guess I need to stop counting on him so much.

I feel like I say that a lot. But, I suppose he really is part of the family and I should probably take better care of him.

Being head of the household is hard.



It's a lot easier to deal with everything when I get to look at Blu, though.

Sigh.



Ooops! Hi, Dad! Ignore that last part, ok?

Actually, ignore this whole entry.

I'm totally doing a great job being in charge of the family legacy! My kids are great! Everything is great!

You totally made the right choice making me responsible for everything!



At least we all like each other, right?

A/N: Around now, I was really glad that this was not an ISBI! Poor BOB... all he does these days is care for the kids and short out. I have no idea when the last time he made it to work was.

Gen 4 Chapter 40: Bait and Switch

I can't believe we've had so many successful parties lately! I'm on a roll!

Blu is impressed too, I'm sure.

All of our guests even went home after Yeti's birthday!

I'm even thinking about teaching Bumble something... like how to walk!

I'm just getting so good at this life thing now!

Of course, first I had to birth another baby. Blu and I were both exhausted, but I made him stay with me.



He was a little panicked. I don't know why, it's not like this is the first time.



Then he was a lot panicked! I mean, really, over dramatic much?



I think he knew that he'd gone too far.



I took matters into my own hands and headed to the hospital. Blu was still feeling a little sheepish about his overreaction.

He should.

It's not like he's been carrying these babies around forever, letting them suck the life out of HIM!

I mean, really.



Just as we headed to the hospital, I noticed the school bus! It was Yeti's first day of school and I missed giving her a hug! I'm a terrible mother to that poor girl.

She looks sad, doesn't she? I hope she's not sad.

I'll make it up to her as soon as this baby is born. No, really, I will!

Ok, probably not.

Maybe BOB will.



But, look! Nemo was just getting to work when we arrived at the hospital! It will be so nice to have him there while I'm having the baby.

Well, not there there. Some things, a brother does not need to see!

But, you know, around. He can make sure that they take good care of me and the new baby!



After hours and hours and hours (seriously, this is our last kid Blu!), we had a new little girl!

We named her Snow, you know to keep with the abominable theme that Mom would have loved. Even though she's blue, I think Snow is a perfectly good name. It's not like all snow is white!

A/N: So, funny story- Snow was blue when I named her and they left the hospital. And not blue when we got home! It took me a few minutes to realize that she'd changed colors and then I had to go back and check the hospital picture to make sure. I haven't played far enough ahead to know whether she changes again when she ages up. I guess she's living up to her name? It was really weird. I swear, I did nothing. Oh, and her traits are Brave and Clumsy! That sounds like a disaster waiting to happen.

Oh, Blu. Probably not a good idea to complain about your wife being stinky while she's in labor with your third child.


Panicking townies outside of the hospital. Also, Blu still thinks that his LTW is Perfect Aquarium. I've changed in every way I know and it even says Superstar Athlete in CAS, but on screen it's still the fish. He always rolls athletic wishes and never rolls fishing wishes so I just don't know. I guess we'll see?

Gen 4 Chapter 39: Another birthday

Wasn't Bumble's party fun? I planned the party for when Blu was at work and he didn't even mind! He hates crowds. It's like the best for everyone!

After the party, the guests finally came inside. Some even stayed all night!

But it was people that Blu likes, so it was ok.

Nemo gave Nova some nice attention. He always did love cats! Not as much as Puzzle does, but still a lot.



Poor Margo, though. I guess that invisible plate was just too scary. I don't blame her, invisible dishes can be sneaky.



After everyone had gone home, the kids and BOB went to sleep (well, BOB napped in the nursery... he's so responsible)! Blu and I decided to work on our skills.

I sculpted. I'm getting very good at it!



And Blu worked out. He's very good at that. I think that he's close to a promotion at work, too!



Sculpting cats. Does it get any better?



Suddenly, it was Yeti's birthday! I decided that the party went so well last time, I should do it again!

I think it's so cool that Blu and I have figured out a way that both of us can enjoy parties (his way is being somewhere else!). And I don't even mind when that "friend" of his crashes the party anymore!

Since the water slide was popular last time, I decided to have a pool party.

We don't have a pool because those are dangerous, but it I love swim wear!



One of our guests made it into the house this time! And she brought an actual visible plate of food this time!

I think my parties just keep getting better and better.



Time for candles!



I can't believe that my little girl is going to be such a big kid now!



Oh, I see! The guests decided to hang out just inside the door this time instead of just outside! And someone else brought the invisible food. Traditions are important.

I'd also like to point out that my brother Nemo is quite the ladies man! He's dated through half of the town, I think, plus many surrounding communities!

The women just flock to him!

I think he might have a problem with commitment.



Anyway, here's my Yeti. Isn't she beautiful?



You know what's bittersweet? Ever since I found out that I was pregnant with Yeti, I wanted to share it with my mom but she died before I even got a chance to tell her... but Yeti is a brave girl and it looks like she'll get a chance to share secrets with her grandma after all!

A/N: Yeti got the overemotional trait for her birthday since neither parent was particularly interested in skilling her (her other traits are slob and eccentric). Ariel did finally roll a wish to teach Yeti to walk, but she rolled it after she'd planned the party and there wasn't enough time. I wonder if either of them will want to teach Bumble or the new baby anything! It was nice that Gwyn came to see Yeti on her birthday, though. Yeti immediately made wishes to interact with ghost-Gwyn... maybe she'll be a ghost buster when she grows up!

Bonehilda has been having impure thoughts about Blu lately. She's called him at least 3 times to ask him out and I keep getting those "I'd like to get to know you better" pop-ups. Hands off, Boney! (Though it would be kind of interesting to explore that kind of relationship sometime, just not with Blu!)


Poor BOB shorted out on his way to work. He got fired for missing work after this. I guess Ariel is relying on him a bit too much! Then again, when I tell him to go to bed, he usually chooses to nap in the rocking chair in the nursery so it's kind of his own fault!


Party people gather outside.


Ariel is doing the dishes (probably in an attempt to impress Gwyn because Ariel never does the dishes), but she seems to be doing it wrong!

Gen 4 Chapter 38: A little momento

I'm so glad that Blu and I have made up! It was so weird how much we didn't like each other for a while there.

Well, I liked him. Sort of. But he didn't really like me.

I mean, we liked looking at each other and, you know..., but we really didn't like being around each other otherwise.

I wonder what that was all about?

Oh well.

Blu was a little worried the other day when he thought that I didn't like him again.

I told him that I just didn't feel well. It was probably something I ate. It had nothing to do with him.

Maybe.



Anyway, Blu showed me his muscles to make him feel better.

Looking at him definitely made me feel better.

I like Blu's muscles.



I showed him how much I liked his muscles. ALL of his muscles. If you know what I mean.



Unfortunately, his muscles didn't heal me as much as I'd hoped they would.

Then again... I'm starting to think that it was his muscles and our "christening" of our new gym that caused my "illness".



I haven't said anything to Blu yet. We're doing so well that I'm afraid to do anything to upset us!

But Blu is such a good father that maybe it will be ok.



I made sure to tell BOB how much we appreciated everything he does around here.

Seems like a good idea, since we might be asking even more of him in the future.

Not that I'm telling him that yet.

I don't want to scare BOB off, either!



Look. Blu loves babies! I'm sure it will be fine.

It's enough to make me cry!

Ok. Definitely hormonal.



The best thing happened the other night!

We put the babies to bed.



Ok. That part wasn't the best thing, obviously, we put them to bed every night!

Well, sometimes BOB does.

Maybe most of the time BOB does.

But that's not the point.

My point is this... we turned around and there was Dad!

We haven't seen him since he died!

I think he was waiting for me and Blu to get ourselves together before he came to visit.



The next day, I came downstairs looking like my normal self.



And then I didn't. Guess I can't really hide the fact that there's going to be a new family member anymore!



But before I had to think too much about it, it was time for Bumble's birthday!

I love birthdays!

So much cake and sparkling, what's not to love?



In the middle of the party, Nova and Weskers were totally cute playing together! I'm so glad that we got Nova a little friend. Everyone should have someone to play with.

A/N: Yep. There was a little lullaby after the shower incident at the Gym. My risky woohoo is set around 10%, but you wouldn't know it from these two! I don't think that they've ever had to "try for baby". It's so much better now that they're getting along, though.
