So, it's been forever since I updated! I don't even remember my own story and I haven't Simmed in months... so I made a resolution to get back to it!
I'm going to get some posts up this week on one or the other of these blogs! I'm kind of excited to rediscover my families...

ReplyDeleteSo I pulled up my Sims game, updated to the latest version, and loaded the Hodgins... who played for about 90 seconds before crashing. Sigh. Maybe I'll spend tomorrow updating mods...

I didn't realize that the Hodginses actually loaded and played before crashing. If that's the case, first update mods, then do a Reset Everything. I've found that fixes a lot of random crap like this.
Also, annoying as it is, a purge of unused CC followed by a Clean Folder also helps a lot.
I ditched all CC the last time I had to bin everyone, but that doesn't mean that there isn't some hanging up somewhere. I'll try the reset and a nice fresh folder once I get around to updating mods. I was hoping to do that today, but now I need to get the brakes fixed on the car and then get ready for a preschool board meeting! Maybe I can run my updates while I'm doing that...
